On Saturday November 4th, 2017, Jefferson County Public Sewer District hosted an informational meeting regarding the Weber Hill / Warren Woods Sanitary Sewer Improvement Area (SSIA) Project for the homeowners in those respective subdivisions. The meeting discussed the following topics:
- What is an SSIA Project?
- How sewers will positively impact the property.
- The type of sewer system that is proposed for this area. (Low Pressure Sewers with Grinder Pumps)
- What is a grinder pump, and what is the homeowners responsibility?
- Costs and Financing options available.
- Petitions and the next steps.
The meeting had great turnout with a large amount of information provided by the Engineer, District Operator and Board.
